    Password Management Tool (PMT)

The Password Management Tool (PMT) is used to change or reset your password in case you forget it.

    Adelphi PMT Registration Form

You must register with the Adelphi PMT first before you can change/reset your password.

Sign in using your Adelphi (eCampus) email and password. Once you have signed in, you will be asked to authenticate using either a phone or an alternate email address.

    Registering Your Phone

When setting up your phone, you will be asked to put in your phone number. You can choose to have the password management tool either text or call your phone with a verification code to proceed.

After entering the code on the website and clicking “verify”, you have successfully registered your phone as a way to reset your password.

    Registering an Alternate Email

When setting up an alternate email, you will asked to put in another email account. This email account should not be a primary work or school email. Click the “email me” button to have the verification code emailed to you.

The email will come from Microsoft with the subject line “Adelphi University account email verification code”. If this email does not show up in your inbox after an extended period of time, check your spam folder or resend the email with the verification code.

After entering the code on the website and clicking “verify”, you have successfully registered an alternate email as a way to reset your password. Click “finish” to complete this process.

» Register Your Phone/Email for Recovery

Once you register your phone and email you’ll be able to get Microsoft Office for free! Note: You must currently be a matriculated undergraduate or graduate student, staff or faculty member to be eligible for the download.

Changing Your Password if You Know Your Current Password:

You will need to sign in with your email and current password.

Upon signing in, you will enter your old password along with the new password you want associated with that account. Then hit submit.

Once you see your profile, you have successfully changed your password.

    » Change Your Password

Changing your Current Password if You Don’t Remember Your Password:

If you don’t know your current password, you will need to use your phone or alternate email to reset your password.

You will be prompted to enter in your User ID of your account and fill out a captcha check.

On the next screen, you have three options available to you to receive a verification code that will allow you to reset your password.

    • email your alternative email address
    • call your phone
    • text your phone

Once you have successfully entered the verification code, you will be prompted to enter a new password.
