Check out our latest projects and see what's planned for fall.

Congratulations on reaching the end of another school year!  As the spring semester come to a close, the  Office of Information Technology would like to bring you a few important announcements and introduce some projects we are working on this summer.

MoodleMoodle 2.7 is Coming!

Set to launch on July 2—just before 2015 Summer Session II classes begin—the new mobile-friendly templates are optimized for use on any device. Faculty are invited to learn about the new features and try them out.

Responsive Website

Have you noticed that the Adelphi website is now responsive? That means it’s been optimized for user-friendly display on tablets and smart phones.

3D Design

Be part of innovation at AU! We encourage faculty to set up a consultation with our studio staff to discuss how to use 3D projects in your curriculum and research.

Check out our @adelphi3d Instagram to see a gallery of 3D prints from students, faculty and staff, including details about each print and ideas for projects you might want to try.

Prepare for your time away from the office

For any faculty, and staff who will be away from the office for an extended period, we recommend that you backup all files on your H: drive and/or your Adelphi Google Drive. Turn off not only your computer but also printers, monitors, scanners, and other electronic equipment. If you will not be checking your University email account regularly, we encourage you to set up a vacation autoresponder message on AU Gmail and to change your voicemail message.

Summer Projects

  • This summer, more features will be added to the AU2Go mobile app, available in the Apple App store and Google Play store, including access to the PantherHealth portal and tools for new students to use during Orientation.
  • The Nexus Building will be outfitted with technology features including a robust, fast network.
  • Computer labs will be upgraded to MS Office 2013 as well as newer versions of other software.
